Saucers

If you have been growing plants, you may have faced the struggle of retaining their water content. Sometimes, the water you sprinkle on your plants may just leak out or spill away, preventing your plants from getting enough time to absorb the moisture they need. One way to solve this problem is to use a saucer with your grow container.

How to use a plant saucer?

It’s very simple to find the right size for your plant – buy it the same size as your plant pot. So, if you have a 20” garden pot, then you know the right saucer size for you is also 20”.

Saucers work better when used with fabric and plastic pots. We highly recommend using saucers for your indoor growing purpose, as they can collect the running water, preventing any spill and gathering nutrients from going to waste.

As for potted plants, well – the decision is yours. If you are worried about leakage of nutrients and water, then using a saucer can help you get rid of that worry. However, if you don’t care about the spillage on the floor, there’s no need to use it.
