The 630 Watt Fixture

The Pro 630e CMH contains two 315W CMH lamps. Gavita uses an intelligent double ballast concept, enabling to switch off one lamp in the fixture.

To make sure that both lamps have equal burning hours and to balance light on the crop, you can alternate which lamp is switched off every time an autodim event occurs or when you dim down to a low level.

Gavita has developed a double 315W fixture for applications that require CMH full spectrum light as the primary source or as a high percentage of supplemental light. The Pro 630e CMH contains two 315W CMH lamps.

The intelligent double-ballast concept enables you to switch off one lamp in the fixture.

This fixture is a larger version of the Gavita Pro 315e CMH which uses (x1) 315 Watt SE bulbs instead of 2

The Pro 630e falls under Gavitas Professional category as its voltage range extends from 208 - 240 Volts.

The standard reflector is designed for CMH-only installations and delivers more than 90% uniformity with optimal horizontal crop penetration.

Complete Fixture

The integration of ballast and reflector results in a compact fixture. No external lamp wires result in low EMI, which makes the fixture compliant with FCC regulations. All CMH fixtures are FCC tested and compliant.

Balanced Fixture

The fixture is balanced, so it can be mounted by just two hanging points. This enables easy installation by brackets from C-profiles for example.

No moving parts, optimal thermal management

Our ballasts are completely sealed and passively cooled through the aluminum housing. The optimized thermal management keeps the electronics much cooler than in die-cast housings. This extremely important for the lifetime and reliability of the internal electronics

Ideal for fixed installation

Ideal for fixed installation with brackets on Unistrut (C profile) systems, the Repeater Bus cabling system allows you to daisy-chain the fixtures in your installation. A Repeater Bus interconnect cable is included with every fixture. You can connect 5 strings of 100 fixtures per Master controller port. This enables you to control up to 1000 fixtures on one EL2 controller.

Reflector - M 132 SE CMH 630

This medium reflector (132 degrees beam angle, for 630e fixtures) is designed for CMH only installations and will give you over 90% uniformity on your crop. Made of a very high grade Miro® aluminum which provides optimal reflectance of light to your crop and provides optimal horizontal penetration of the crop. We recommend to change reflectors every year in a “dirty” environment (dust, foggers, sprays) or every two years in a clean environment.

The Gavita 630e SE is available with 315 watt 3,100K Lamps for flowering or 4,200K Lamps for vegetative or supplemental lighting.

These Philips lamps feature superior color quality and very crisp white light. Incredibly high 1.95 PPF (photosynthetic photon flux) per watt per second light source.

High 90% lumen maintenance at 8,000 hr/high 85% maintenance at 20,000 hr.

Phillips Bulbs

Spectrum - 3,100K vs 4,200K

3,100K and 4,200K CMH lamps both emit a spectrum capable for growing plants full-cycle (veg through flower). The 3100K lamp is biased towards the red wavelength (ideal for flowering), and the 4200K lamp is biased towards the blue wavelength (ideal for vegetative growth), however both offer a wide enough spectrum for the full-cycle of a plants life.

Suitable for Gavita Master Controllers

Our CMH ballasts ballasts can be remote controlled by our Gavita Master Controllers. CMH lamps can not be dimmed without deterioration of the light maintenance over time, and restart problems. However, the Repeater Bus interface enables timing control and safety features with the Gavita Master controller.

With this you can also integrate the fixture as a supplement light to a HPS layout.

You can connect 5 strings of 100 fixtures per Master controller port. This enables you to control up to 1000 fixtures on one EL2 controller.
