All growers know that maintaining the CO2 level in your grow tent or grow room is essential for optimum growth. When growing outside the typical carbon dioxide level is 400 ppm, but increasing this up to 1,500 ppm can supercharge your plants growth and yield you monster crops.
We all know that plants require sunlight (or for indoor plants, grow lights) to grow. Plants convert the CO2 acquired from the sunlight, which is then used for plant growth. Now, if we spike the CO2 level, your grow lights will become more effective. Experts suggest that with an increased supply of carbon dioxide, the total yields can increase upwards of 30%.
It also depends on which kind of grow lights you are using within your grow space. In other words, if you’re opting for Led Grow Lights or MH and HPS grow lights, a CO2 tank with a regulator can have a tremendous effect. However, if you’re using fluorescent grow lights, which are less intense, then the impact of the CO2 tank will be minimal at best.
If you want to inject a high supply of CO2 inside your grow room, then a carbon dioxide regulator and tank kit will come in handy. Apart from that, if you’re a large-scale grower, then these kits are exceptional for attaining increased yields without increasing heat (which would be the case if you're using a CO2 burner). Furthermore, they have a lower initial cost and the only maintenance required is refilling the CO2 tanks.
Another question that arises in the minds of growers is that what do CO2 Regulators do? The regulator allows you to control your CO2 level so that it stays within the ideal range. Want to know what else is included in the CO2 kit? Let’s find out!
